Market - The global market for accumulators could reach US$62 billion in 2016.1 The global market for lithium ion batteries could reach US$25 billion in 2017.2 The demand for supercapacitors could reach US$3 billion in 2018.3
Challenge – Use G+ products to create smaller batteries with increased energy density and a longer life.
Product – Pristine graphene nanoplatelets as a conductive agent or active material (Liquid G+, Pure G+).
In development – We are a partner in the MAT4BAT project (7th Framework Program), co-ordinated by CEA (Commissariat a L’Energie Atomique et Aux Energies Alternatives). The project involves 17 industrial and academic partners. We are providing engineered materials to use as innovative conductive agents for the new generation of lithium-ion batteries.
