G+® Coating 

Directa Plus has developed a special water-based coating process based on the integration of G+® Graphene Plus with highly performing PU.

The G+® coating can be applied to different substrates: microfiber, TPU and coagulated. Our R&D team keeps adding new fabrics for the application of this technology. Thanks to the Advanced Development Area (ADA), Directa Plus can offer consultancy services to validate new substrates for the G+® coating.

The G+® coating ensures antimicrobial protection (antibacterial & antiviral), UV fastness, abrasion resistance and antistatic properties.

This technology is extremely versatile, in fact, it can be used in many different industries: from automotive to footwear. Designers can cover accessories, furniture items and garments details with the G+® coating.
Aesthetically the G+® coating can create different fashionable effects thanks to an incredibly wide range of available textures.

Description

The G+® Coating has been developed for external applications. This technology ensures antimicrobial protection (antibacterial & antiviral), UV fastness, abrasion resistance and antistatic properties.
Aesthetically this technology can be customized with a paper transfer, different effects are available: natural, classic, leather-like, marble-stone, high-tech, geometrical, and oleographic, bright, or shiny look.

Depending on the clients needs and requests, we can customize the substrate and the design of the coating.

Deskpad with G+® coating by Danese Artemide

Secondo Piano is an innovative deskpad, designed by Giulio Iacchetti, with a convenient handle to move it easily and eventually hang it on a dedicated hook.
This deskpad outlines and highlights the individual space with a auto-sanitizable surface. It is in fact made with the G+® Coating on TPU that makes the surface 99.9% antibacterial.

This lounge chair designed by Mario Prandina, the designer owner of the brand Plinio il Giovane, was realized with the G+® Coating on microfiber. G+® ensures abrasion resistance, UV fastness, antimicrobial, and antistatic properties. Moreover, the color metallic grey is unique and the surface presents a tridimensionality effect.

The 2004 Jacket

An elegant and sporty jacket made of Graphene Plus G+® coating, with a hidden nylon hood and front pockets with waterproof zip fastening. The soft suede fabric on the inside of the jacked gives a feeling of luxury and comfort.
